This article talks about the slave labor in the fishing industry of Thailand. Even though this is only happened in a small corner of the world, slavery is crime of history's past. Recently, old tactics from history of being used again and it makes you wonder if our world today is actually okay. I thought that this article was extremely powerful because slavery is a crime against humanity and we never thought it would happen again, but here we are. According to this article, slave labor in Thailand is very common and is very dangerous because much violence is used. This powerful article and the pre-world war 2 tactics from Germany being used by Russia today, are seriously making me doubt humanity.

This article from CNN depicts a very troubling circumstance that is happening in our world right now. The Ukraine crisis mentioned is the threat of war on them from Russia. After Russia declared war, the economy is suffering tremendously in Germany, France, London, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. Russia is a very important nation in the economy because of it's many successful companies and industries but now, investors are doubting that either Russia or Ukraine can turn around from the political and economic crises about to ensue. This article is definitely a news story with lots of research done to prove opinions.
